“I met Ruppa when we were working on a FDP project inThailand for the Thai Department of Defense (DED) in 2013. Ruppa carried out a dual function, the assigned project manager and reservoir engineer.
The project setup had a very tight time schedule.
Her first task was to form a team, and considering that most of the team member came from different locations she managed it very well to bring everybody together by clearly assigning tasks to everybody and expectations. As a project manager she kept everybody informed about the progress being made, it was very transparent during all stages of the various phases.

Mariano worked at Carigali Hess with me where I am the head of Reservoir Engineering discipline. The portfolio of fields he worked on included normally pressured and HPHT reservoirs. He was involved in constructing and calibrating (History Matching) reservoir models for production forecasting and making investment decisions. In the case of the HPHT field he was responsible for all reservoir engineering aspects associated with the FDP including constructing and validating dynamic models. The proposed development plan is currently being executed by Carigali Hess. Mariano was also responsible for supporting pre-development work, appraisal planning for several discoveries, coordinating and reporting reserves assessment for the company (SEC, SPE). I have no doubt that Mariano has the ability to contribute positively to any asset or organisation he works with.
